About Young Engineers
Austin S. Lin is the Operations Department Manager for the flavors & fragrance chemicals division of Procter & Gamble's Avenel Plant near Woodbridge, New Jersey. He previously served as the Global Contract Manufacturing Development Leader for Procter & Gamble's batteries division at the Duracell Global Headquarters in Connecticut, where he managed quality systems and engineering capability of the company's external manufacturing partners.
Austin serves on the NSPE Board as the National Director - Young Engineers and previously served as the Young Engineer representative to the NSPE Professional Engineers in Industry Executive Board. He is also serves as the Chair of the New York/ New Jersey Metropolitan Section of the American Society for Quality.
Austin is certified as a Quality Engineer (CQE) and Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) by the American Society for Quality and is registered as an EIT in Georgia. He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
