Kent D. Dvorak, P.E.

Senior Principal / Project Manager

Mr. Dvorak currently works for the Terracon, Salt Lake City office as a Senior Principal and Senior Project Manager for the Salt Lake City International Airport. Over the last 40 years, Mr. Dvorak developed extensive experience in both geotechnical and materials evaluation and testing. He provides technical assistance for the projects, including the evaluation of existing buildings and bridges. Projects have included evaluation of noncompliant masonry construction, bridge decks and roadways experiencing distress, and mapping of structures where plans are not available.

At NICET, Mr. Hollis is responsible for implementing the policies and directions established by the NICET Board of Governors and daily operations. He promotes the value of NICET certification to technicians, employers, contract specifiers, AHJs and other stakeholders. He strives to create a customer friendly environment and improve processes while preserving the rigor and integrity of NICET certifications.



William Kenneth Johnson, Jr., P.G.

Mr. Johnson has spent his career in the geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing industry in Charleston. Before college, he worked as a materials technician and as a geotechnical field drilling technician. Kenny holds certifications in non-destructive testing; therefore, he offers Clients a wealth of knowledge in all construction materials.

Shannon Looney P.E. is the current State Delegate of Tennessee for the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and has worked with NSPE for over four years. In 1993, Mr. Looney received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and has worked in construction management, transportation, and civil and geotechnical engineering since then. For the past seven years, Mr. Looney has acted as the Senior Project Manager for Glenn E. Mitchell and Co, Inc. in Knoxville, Tennessee.
