Understanding Sanitary Wastewater Engineering

Speaker bio: Kris leads environmental programs for GE. She is responsible for the development and implementation of environmental programs globally. Previously, she was the global leader of water programs in the GE corporate EHS group for nearly eight years.

Kris holds a bachelor of science in biology from Fairfield University, a master of environmental management from Yale University, a master in civil engineering, and an executive MBA from the University of Connecticut. She is a licensed PE in nine states, Board Certified Environmental Engineer in the American Academy of Environmental Engineers, Certified Safety Professional, Diplomate, Water Resources Engineer, and an ENVISIONTM Sustainability Professional. She also holds a class IV water treatment plant operators license issued by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and she is certified as an environmental laboratory director through the same agency. Additionally, Kris is a certified by IRCA as an ISO 14001: 2015 Provisional Auditor.
