John Tennert is currently the Environmental Mitigation Manager for the Clark County Regional Flood Control District (District) where he is responsible for coordinating the environmental compliance activities for the District on behalf of its member agencies. John has worked in local government in the Las Vegas Valley for more than 15 years, focused on environmental and regulatory policy. Prior to working for the Clark County Regional Flood Control District, he was employed by the City of Henderson, Clark County, and the Las Vegas Valley Water District/Southern Nevada Water Authority. John received his Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy from Virginia Tech.
Angie MacKinnon serves as HDR’s water business group manager for Nevada and Utah and is based in the Las Vegas office. She holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Idaho State University, and a master of business administration and finance certificate from Colorado State University. Angie has lived in the Las Vegas Valley for over 18 years and serves as Project Manager responsible for the engineering planning and design of various water projects, including pipelines, wastewater treatment, and stormwater quality planning.
