Retired P.E. in Florida. Member of NSPE for over 55 years, currently fellow and life member; local chapter and state officer to state president of the Florida Engineering Society; NSPE committee member of several committees, chair of Licensure and Qualifications for two years; NSPE director and delegate, most recently delegate from Florida representing (or trying to) individual NSPE members from Florida – 2019-2021.
Forty year engineering career starting in the U.S. Air Force, moving on as young engineer at small AE firm, eventually becoming President and majority owner. Active in the community including terms as engineering representative on construction industry boards. Board member and Chair of Florida Engineers Management Corporation, providing administrative services to the Florida State Board of Engineers. Served as Director, Treasurer, and President of the Florida Engineering Foundation during a 20+ year period.
Retired from active practice for twenty years, I have pretty much moved on from engineering (I would be a danger to myself and others), but my interest and dedication to the engineering profession is an integral part of me and always will be.
