Bio

I am married with two adult children, both married. Music performance was my first profession, which I continue to this day. I graduated from Northeastern University in 1988 with a BSEE, and passed the EIT exam in my senior year. I continued with LTX, my co-op employer until 1990 when I moved to Allentown, PA to work for AT&T Bell Labs. I stayed, making use of their tuition assistance program, as that company evolved into Lucent Technologies, Agere Systems, LSI and Infineon. I received a PhD in EE from Lehigh University in 2005. In 2008 I was layed off from Infineon along with my entire team, including my manager, and decided the time was right for a major change in goals and strategies. I formed a subchapter-S corporation and declared myself an independent consultant. Now, finally, I could see a value in obtaining a PE license. I passed the exam in April, 2010 and received my documents and license numbers this very week. One of my first actions thereafter is to join NSPE.
